the waypointer is the 'must have' software for managing, converting and transfering waypoints, tracks and routes to handheld Magellan GPS receivers (CrossoverGPS (2500T), eXplorist, Meridian, SporTrak and older units). It can open and read the following file formats: Magellan waypoints, tracks, routes & geocaches (*.trk/*.log/*.rte/*.r/*.upt/*.gs/*.wpt) Magellan MapSend waypoints text/excel export (*.TXT/*.CSV) Map & Guide routeplanning software (*.TEF / *.XML / *.BCR and *.PDB) GPX waypoints, tracks & routes (*.gpx) Google Earth Paths, Routes, Placemarks (*.kml) Overlay (OVL) ASCII files (*.ovl) Kompass TK (*.tk) Geocaching LOC files (*.loc) The waypointer automatically detects the content of GPX files and provides 3 importfilters for KML files. To save Your data You can use all Magellan-NMEA-Formats  (*.trk/*.log/*.rte/*.r/*.upt/*.gs/*.wpt) as well as GPX, KML and OVL. You can easily access Your serial connected device by using the build-in Magellan Access. The waypointer provides full support for eXplorist devices and an automatic creation of partial routes. The waypointer includes features to convert tracks into routes with calculation of turn instructions. The integrated Explorer lets You exchange data between You eXplorist and Your PC by drag & drop. The waypointer and Your GPS receiver are the best companions for Mountainbike and Motorcycle touring and any other outdoor activity. The waypointer free is freeware. If You like more features You can upgrade to the XL version.
